David Hillary has recently published a critique of these views on Academia.com. In it he defends the view that Jesus did not allow divorce for any reason - not even adultery - though the marriage could be invalidated by pre-marital unchastity. This is essentially the Catholic view though he does not accept other reasons for annulment.
His view depends on a novel interpretation of the rabbinic evidence that I haven't seen before. I can't see how he reaches his conclusions about these rabbinic texts, and he doesn't give any explanation about how he did so, or how they are supposed to fit with other conflicting evidence. It will be interesting if he publishes more, though I suspect that when he investigates the material further, he may find that he changes his mind.
